the meadow
From the keeper's desk
Notes the keeper has written for visitors over the years: words for when yours are hard to find, and honest ways to keep a friend remembered.
Words for missing a good dog
The old words, short lines for cards and markers, and ours.
Fifteen honest ways to remember them, ours included.
Twelve ways to remember a good cat, from their sun spot to Fern Hollow.
How to make a shrine for them at home, and let it change.
Where the story came from, who wrote it, and how to give it somewhere to live.
Two more doors
The gift the keeper keeps, and thirteen more that land well.
What free should mean, and what a plot holds.
A place in the meadow is free, and no memorial is ever deleted. Make a place for someone.
