a resting place for beloved pets
An online pet memorial garden, kept forever.
The memorial you make for the pet you had at seven is here when you are thirty, and when you are eighty, showing your grandchildren every friend you had along the way. That is the whole idea. A place here is free, and no memorial is ever deleted.

The first names
The meadow is young. Willow Run has its path, and the other gardens are being laid out a few stones at a time. Every plot is already planted and kept.
This book is where I write each name the day it arrives, and the first names will always be the first names.

He was the best little friend you could ask for.
She would do this Super Kitty reach when I would pick her up, never seen another cat do that.
She was shy and feisty, but sweet in her own way.

A pet memorial website, built as a garden
Meadow Keeper is a place. An online pet memorial built as a garden: every pet is given a plot of their own, in a garden with neighbors, on grounds you can stroll from any screen. You plant the plot, add their photographs and their story told in your words, and the meadow keeps them.
A place in the meadow is free, and it stays. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and no memorial is ever deleted. For families who want more, the keeper will tend the plot for ten dollars, paid once and never again. But nobody has to pay to lay a friend to rest.
Eight gardens, and a right place for every friend
The meadow is newly opened. Its first residents are written in the keeper's register at the gate, and the day's walk sets out from Willow Run, the dog garden, while the seven other gardens are laid out a few stones at a time. Uncommon friends are no less loved for it.
Each day the keeper walks the grounds and stops at five plots, anniversaries and fresh candles first. And if someone you love already rests here, search the meadow for their name.
Planting a memorial takes about ten minutes
Tell the keeper their name and, if you like, their years. Add their portrait, their photographs, and their story. Every plot gets a short address that fits on a card and reads aloud easily, and a keepsake card with a QR code can lead anyone straight back to their memorial. The people who loved them can visit, leave flowers, light candles, and write in the guest book. When you are done, the plot stands from that day on.
For a friend who has just lost their pet
When someone you care about loses a pet, the right words are hard to find. A place can say them. Plant a memorial for their pet, free or tended by the keeper, and give them the address when it is ready; or simply send them to the meadow when the time feels right. Both doors are at the front desk, and the keeper has written down the gifts that land well.
Questions people ask at the gate
What is Meadow Keeper?
An online pet memorial site shaped like a garden. Your pet gets a permanent memorial page, called a plot, in one of the meadow's gardens. You add photographs and their story, and anyone with the address can visit, leave flowers, light a candle, and write in the guest book.
How do I create a memorial?
Plant a plot: enter their name, add photos and your words. It takes about ten minutes. You will be emailed a key that lets you return and edit the memorial any time.
Is it really free?
Yes. A plot with five photographs, unlimited words, their marker, and every visitor's flowers and candles is free, with no trial and no subscription. Nothing about a free plot ever expires. Here is what free means here, in full.
What do you mean by tended by the keeper?
Tending means Janet looks after the plot the way a groundskeeper would. She lights their candle every year on the days you choose, keeps a flower bed planted at their plot, and puts them on her walk when their day comes around. A tended plot also holds more of them: more photographs, films, sounds, and keepsakes.
What does tending cost?
Tending is the meadow's ten dollar option, paid once and never again. The keeper lights their candle every year on the days you choose and plants a flower bed at their plot, which then holds twenty five photographs, short films of them, a few of their sounds, and keepsakes, with a printed wallet card for you. The full ledger is in the main office.
Will the memorial ever be taken down?
No. What is planted stays planted; nothing about a plot lapses or expires. The short honest list of exceptions is written in the keeper's promise.
Is the meadow a physical place?
No. The meadow is online, drawn and kept here, so you can visit from anywhere, any day, and share the address with people far away.
Can I make a memorial for a pet who died years ago?
Of course. Many residents come to the meadow long after they left. Exact dates are never required; you only need their name to begin.
The meadow stays open.
The meadow never writes first.
What is planted stays planted.
